We keep you up to date
Visit our booth at the ASIM Workshop in Düsseldorf, Feb., 28th to Mar. 1st
ASIM Workshop in DüsseldorfThe ASIM Workshop is this year hosted by the Fachhochschule Düsseldorf and it again brings together simulation experts from a broad range of disciplines (see Program). This event is focussed on application-oriented topics about simulation tools and offers interesting workshops and talks.
At our booth we will present the most recent versions of our XRGApplication products which help to conduct your simulation tasks efficiently:
- ModelOpt - The XRGApplication for Mathematical Parameter Optimization of Modelica Models (e.g., for minimizing cost functions or deviations from measurement data)
- Canvas - Post-Processing and Visualization of 1D Simulation Results (for creation of display sheets on own background images. e.g. schematic plant diagrams)
So just come around!
Furthermore, we would like to kindly invite you to the talks of our colleague:
- Ole Engel: "ModelOpt – ein Werkzeug zur Verbesserung von Simulationsmodellen", Thu., Feb., 28th at 14:00 in the room "H1.1"
We are looking forward to seeing you!
MoMoLib - Release of High Accuracy Humid Air and R134a Models
Specific heat capacity at constant volume for R134aThe release version of the fluid property library for humid air and the refrigerant R134a developed in the MoMoLib project was succesfully verified and delivered to the CleanSky consortium.
The humid air model is valid for a much broader range of states (611 Pa < p < 10 MPa, 143.15K < T < 2000K, incl. frost, dissociation), than the existing humid air model (Modelica.Media.Air.MoistAir) making it useful for aircraft applications or similar. The R134a refrigerant model can be used for modelling of any refrigeration system (aircraft, automobile, building systems, etc.).
The models can be used under Modelica 2 license and apply the corresponding media interfaces of Modelica.Media 3.2 (proceed to download page).
A version of the MoMoLib library compatible with the Modelica Standard Library (MSL) 3.2.1 will be offered to the Modelica Association for integration into MSL.
News of 2013
We'll be back shortly with more News.
Free Demo for Canvas

The Canvas software is a post processing tool for easy and fast visualization of 1-d simulation results. The basic concept is to arrange numerical result values on a selectable background image. That enables the user to generate analyzing figures with self designed background pictures in an efficient way.
The demo software for Windows operating systems is available for free.
Specification:
- Canvas Demo has a life-time-license and all features of the full version with some exceptions
- Limitations are the number of displays (max. 5) and the number of results files (max. 2)
Free Demo for ModelOpt

ModelOpt is a an optimization application for minimizing cost functions or deviations from a design or measurement value. It uses Dymola/Modelica for modeling and target function definition as well as for simulation (from version Dymola 6.1 to the latest version). A simple and intuitive graphical user interface guides the user step by step through an optimization project.
The demo software for Windows operating systems is available for free.
Specification:
- ModelOpt Demo has a life-time-license and all features of the full version with some exceptions
- Limitations are the number of iteration steps of the optimizer (max. 40), the number of tuner parameters (max. 2), the number of batch cases (max. 3).
- Furthermore, only two optimization schemes are provided: Nelder-Mead and Direct.
